Our Business

Our Name

TerreSauver

Terre – meaning "on the ground" or "earth"
Sauver – meaning "safe from loss", "to protect", "to limit impact"

Together, TerreSauver reflects our commitment to protecting people, assets, and operations where it matters most—on the ground, at the point of work.

TerreSauver exists to help mining operations move safely, efficiently, and without loss.

Our purpose is to help mining operations achieve the safest and most efficient movement of people and equipment through the optimisation of mine traffic systems. We focus on creating safer, smoother traffic flow that reduces the risk of collisions, minimises operational disruptions, shortens load-and-haul cycle times, and improves overall productivity.

By integrating Safe People, Safe Vehicles, and Safe Roads, we help our clients reduce risk, protect value, and build sustainable, high-performing mining operations.

Our Values

Our business is built on integrity, accountability, and excellence. These values guide every decision we make, every partnership we build, and every solution we deliver.

Our guiding principles are:

  • Conducting business with honesty, transparency, and professionalism, building trusted relationships with our clients and stakeholders.

  • Taking ownership and accountability for our actions, commitments, and the outcomes we deliver.

  • Acting as responsible stewards of people, resources, and the environment, always prioritising safety, sustainability, and ethical conduct.

  • Delivering practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that address real operational challenges and create lasting value.

  • Striving for continuous improvement and innovation, applying industry best practices and lessons learned to improve safety and operational performance.

  • Working collaboratively with our clients, to achieve sustainable, long-term success.

At TerreSauver, we are committed to helping our clients create safer, more efficient mining operations while protecting what matters most—people, assets, and productivity.

Our Experience

With more than 20 years of operational experience, TerreSauver has delivered projects across the mining, industrial, transport, petrochemical, and energy sectors, both in South Africa and internationally.

Our mining experience spans a diverse range of commodities, including gold, manganese, coal, platinum, iron ore, and other surface and underground mining operations. This broad exposure has provided us with a deep understanding of the operational, safety, and traffic management challenges faced across different mining environments.

In September 2025, TerreSauver entered a new phase under new management, with a strategic focus on Collision Prevention Systems (CPS), mine traffic management, operational readiness, and the sustainable adoption of safety technologies. Our team brings together specialists with extensive practical experience gained through the successful implementation of Level 9 Collision Prevention Systems across multiple mining operations.

With direct involvement in leading advanced CPS programmes, we understand the technical, operational, behavioural, and governance requirements needed to achieve successful implementation and long-term sustainability. This experience positions TerreSauver among a select group of specialist organisations with proven, hands-on experience in supporting the implementation and operationalisation of Level 9 CPS solutions.

Our practical, on-the-ground experience enables us to develop solutions that are not only technically sound, but also practical, implementable, and aligned with the unique requirements of each operation.

By combining experienced specialists, trusted industry partners, and recognised international best practices, TerreSauver delivers solutions that bridge the gap between strategy and implementation. Our approach combines technical expertise, operational knowledge, and a strong understanding of the human element to to help mining operations achieve safer, more efficient, and sustainable outcomes.

Our Commitment

TerreSauver is proud to be a 100% woman-owned company with strong transformation credentials and a commitment to contributing meaningfully to the industries we serve.

Based in the Northern Cape, we are passionate about supporting local development while delivering specialist services to clients across South Africa and beyond. Our geographical location does not limit our reach, and we are committed to partnering with organisations wherever our expertise can add value.

We believe sustainable success is built not only through technology and innovation, but also through the development of people. As part of this commitment, we actively support skills development, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to help develop the next generation of industry leaders and technical specialists.

Our goal is simple: to help mining operations become safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. We achieve this by delivering practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that create measurable improvements in safety performance, operational efficiency, and productivity.

By combining technical expertise, operational experience, and a strong focus on people, TerreSauver remains committed to creating lasting value for our clients, their workforce, and the broader mining industry.

Our Approach: Getting the Basics Right

At TerreSauver, we believe that sustainable improvements in safety and operational performance start with getting the basics right. We deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that are tailored to each client's operational requirements, capacity, and capabilities. We do not believe in overcomplicated systems or theoretical recommendations that cannot be effectively implemented in the field.

Our focus is on developing solutions that deliver measurable results. Success criteria are jointly agreed with our clients, and improvements are objectively measured against these outcomes. Where required, solutions are independently verified and signed off by auditors, health and safety inspectors, or executive management.

To ensure technical integrity and compliance, our implementations are overseen and, where required, approved by experienced engineers with the appropriate statutory qualifications, including Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) professionals.

Above all, we are committed to delivering solutions that improve safety while enhancing productivity, operational efficiency, and profitability.

The Three Rules

RULE 01

TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE

People are the most important element of any safety or operational improvement initiative. Providing employees with the knowledge, skills, understanding, and confidence to perform their work safely and effectively is the foundation of sustainable success.

RULE 02

GET THE BASICS RIGHT

Technology cannot compensate for poor fundamentals. Clear procedures, competent people, fit-for-purpose equipment, effective supervision, and well-managed traffic systems remain the cornerstones of safe and efficient operations.

RULE 03

REAL-TIME VISIBILITY, SUPPORTED BY EXPERTISE

Effective decision-making requires access to accurate information and experienced support at the point of task. Providing real-time visibility of operational risks, combined with the right expertise, enables people to make informed decisions when it matters most.

Our Philosophy

The cost of ignorance and poor decision-making is often far greater than the investment required to equip people with the knowledge, skills, systems, and resources necessary to do the right thing, at the right time, every time.

At TerreSauver, our goal is simple: to deliver practical solutions that improve safety, enhance operational performance, and create lasting value for our clients.
